The London Magazine, which is the oldest literary and arts review in the UK and has a strong tradition of nonfiction writing, has launched its inaugural competition for essays.
The London Magazine Essay Competition 2017 is an international contest for original, unpublished essays no longer than 1,500 words. The first prize is £500, the second prize is £300 and the third prize is £200. The winning entries will be published in The London Magazine and the two runners-up will be published online.
