Daggers drawn

The CWA is inviting entries for its prestigious Debut Dagger competition for 2018.

The competition is for the opening of a crime novel by an unpublished writer. The winner receives £500. The shortlisted entries are circulated to literary agents, and the judging panel is made of agents and publishers.

To enter, send the first 3,000 words and a synopsis between 500 and 1,000 words.
