AGNI is a well-established American literary magazine which publishes two print issues a year and regular updates online. The editorial team aims to publish ‘important new writers early in their careers’ and seeks to discover stories, poems, and essays that ‘map our pressured interiority and respond in necessary ways to the bedeviled state of the world’. They choose ‘writers and artists (to) hold a mirror up to nature, mankind, the world… who ‘courageously reflect their age, for better or worse’. Among its illustrious past contributors are six Nobel Prize for Literature winners.
