COMPETITION

The Impress Prize for New Writers is inviting entries for the 2016 competition.

The Impress Prize is given for a work of fiction or nonfiction by an unpublished writer. The winner will be offered a publishing contract with Impress Books.

To enter, send a book proposal and sample chapter up to 6,000 words. The proposal should include: the name and contact details of the writer; an author biography; the rationale for publishing the book; a synopsis and/ or contents; the market readership, and illustrations (if appropriate) and proposed length. Format the sample chapter in 12pt font, doublespaced on single sides of A4.
