The 2016 Wasafiri New Writing Prize is open now for entries in three categories: poetry, fiction and life writing.
The winner in each category will receive £300 and their entry will be published in Wasafiri magazine of international contemporary writing. The competition is open to anyone who has not published a complete book in the category they are entering.
Enter up to 3,000 words or up to five poems. All work must be original and previously unpublished. Manuscripts should be double spaced in 12pt font on single sides of A4. The writer’s name must not appear on the manuscript. Only one poem per page. Email entries should be sent as a Word attachment. All entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Entrants may submit a maximum of one entry per category. Include PayPal confirmation if submitting by email.
