The Short Fiction Prize 2016, run by visual literary journal Short Fiction, offers a first prize of £500 plus publication, and the winning story will be published in Short Fiction. There is a runner-up prize of £100. All shortlisted stories will be published online.
The competition is for short stories, any length up to 6,000 words, which must be original and unpublished either in print or online. Stories may be on any theme and in any genre. All entries may be considered for publication. Submit doc attachments by email. Your name must not appear on the manuscript. Include a separate document with your name if it’s not indicated on the email.
All entries must be made by email. There is a fee of £7 per entry, payable by PayPal. Writers may enter as many stories as they like.
