Earworm your way to Dakka

Dakka Press produces a monthly podcast, and proudly declares that the editorial team make ‘approachable, irreverent fiction with some meat to it’. Short stories, audio plays and in-house works are edited and produced by the team. It seeks ‘fiction that adapts well to audio only formats’. The work should be 20 to 30 minutes long when read, that’s usually between 2,500 and 3,000 words. A series is welcomed only if each episode stands entirely on its own. Stories should be at a PG-13 level, and may range from genre fiction to ‘fun “popcorn” reads’. The team enjoys ‘a variety of fiction as long as it has some teeth to it.’
