In this month’s Bus & Coach Preservation we take a look at Green Line Routemaster RCL2219 which has resided at the Transport Museum, Wythall for several decades, but now it’s up and running again and turning heads — an unusual sight on the streets of Birmingham for sure!
NICK LARKIN talks to Steve Kirk, who reckons he has learned a lot about preservation since buying his Leyland National on impulse.
Thirty years on from its official launch, Leicester Dennis Dominator No 100 (C100 UBC) was back on the road to celebrate its anniversary. SIMON GILL reports having attended both occasions.
SHANE ROSS visits the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway’s annual bus rally, whilst your Editor went along to Heath Common, Wakefield to see a reunion this year, and as you will see, we were not disappointed . . .
Other regular features include ‘Coaching Classics’ which this month features vehicles from the Southdown fleet, at one time was noted for having the largest number of coaches in the UK.
