Inside Crochet  |  Issue 126
Thank goodness for the sunshine! The early arrival of blue skies, warm days and blooming flowers for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere has been more than welcome over the past few, worrying weeks.
We wanted to spread a little of that warmth this issue. We could all do with some happy makes to soothe our busy minds. Whether you need a quick floral fix, such as Lucy Djevdet's clever upcycled storage pockets, or the solace of a big, colourful throw that will hold your interest until the last stitch - see Rosina Northcott's stunning Brioche and Bobble Blanket - I hope you are inspired to create something bright and joyful.
Yessabett Bueno's zesty Maya Top with its detailed yoke and trim is a fabulous cover star, while the easy-wear Himalayan Salt Tee by Kath Webber introduced me to the gorgeous hand-dyed Emma's Yarn and I'll be pairing Fran Morgan's Floral Diamonds top with everything from floaty skirts to comfy jeans.
The issue is also full of pretty accessories and homewares to spread some flowery fun. The wonderfully vintage look of Claire Montgomerie's Bouquet Hairband and the bright pops of colour of Helda Panagary's Alstroemeria Bag will add cheer to any outfit. Just string up Jo Smith's twinkling garland for instant sunshine and hook up Emma Varnam's Crazy Daisy cushions in as many colours as you fancy.
And I hope you love your little posy of stitch markers!
