FIVE WAYS TO SOW SEEDS
The month of April is peak seed sowing time, when gardeners use the rising temperatures and stronger light to start off flowers and crops for the coming year. There is much more to sowing seeds than simply placing some on a layer of compost, covering them with more compost, and waiting for the little seedlings to emerge. Different seeds have different requirements for
successful germination. Some need extra warmth provided by heated
propagators or a heated greenhouse, while others need darkness and cool conditions.
