Nearly everything you buy depreciates in value instantly, computers, household appliances and cars are prime examples. New cars drop in price the moment you drive them off the forecourt. The trick is to buy when prices are low but show signs that they are going up. The longevity of Land Rovers has meant that they have always been better investments than other marques.
