TRIUMPH'S HOT NEW THRUXTON R TAKES ON OLD-SCHOOL RIVALS
Triumph have timed the launch of the new Thruxton R to perfection, right when retros are capturing the imagination of bikers and non-bikers alike. It’s a machine that comfortably mixes style and character with searing performance. Triumph could have given the outgoing Thruxton a short back and sides, checked shirt, beard and turn-ups and it would’ve still sold in its droves, but café racer looks aside, it’s a spellbinding motorcycle in its own right. It’s everything we hoped it would be: smooth, easy to ride, fast and fun. It’s beautifully built with fastidious attention to detail. It’s a bike to suit your every mood, whether you want to potter, pose or go bananas. It’s a bike that gives you so much, you’ll never tire of it.
