Billed (like the Doctor) as an “Intrepid explorer of the galaxies”, Denys Fisher’s bouffant-haired Leela doll (far left) could be found in toy shops from 1977.
A more accurate representation of the Doctor’s friend was released by Bif Bang Pow! in 2011 (left centre). Character’s version of Leela from her first story (left) was also issued in 2011. This came with a crossbow and bolt, a dagger and the weapon properly known as a disrupter gun.
