Tuning in to see Martine McCutcheon in one of the nation’s favourite festive films has become an annual Christmas tradition.
Now, as she launches a unique Greetings Gram service giving people the chance to recreate the film’s most iconic Christmas scene, the vivacious Love Actually star and singer exclusively tells hello! why this year’s festivities will be particularly special for her five-year-old son, Rafferty.
“He knows all about Covid-19 and, like other children his age, understands what it means,” she says. “So this year we want to focus on the magic of Christmas and make sure he feels its innocent sense of wonder.
“We’ve gone to town with Nordic-inspired decorations and are planning our favourite traditions, such as opening one present each on Christmas Eve and dancing around the kitchen on Christmas morning,” adds the 44-year-old former EastEnders actress.
