ALL-IN-ONE SPEAKER SYSTEM

Bluetooth speakers are many and varied, and I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing everything: from single speakers that resemble outdoor ashtrays to ones that you hang in your shower for maximum glistening listening. They are not the obvious first choice for listening to vinyl, though, as many listeners prefer a more analogue and wired quality. Saying that, they shouldn’t be discounted. Bluetooth has its fans and there are some respected Bluetooth turntables out there from the likes of Audio-Technica and ION.
Heco is a German company that has been making speakers since 1949. Its current range encompasses everything from the Celan Revolution range of home cinema speakers through to high-end installation speakers. The Direkt range has caused a stir not least through its upright design, with raised front legs that remind me, and you may not be able to un-think this, so read on at your peril, of that Tory MP ‘legs akimbo’ pose.
