EVER SINCE the dawn of Raspberry Pi computers, people have been making media centers out of them. Even the original Pi, thanks to its VideoCore SoC, was able to play 1080p content smoothly, 256MB of RAM notwithstanding. Media center distributions quickly sprang up to exploit this and using your Pi as a media center was quickly seen as an easy way to get into the world of micro PCs.
