Does my laptop support Bluetooth LE?
Q Under ‘Bluetooth’ in Device Manager, my Asus Zenbook UX3404VC laptop lists ‘Bluetooth LE Generic Attribute Service’. However, I can’t see the ‘Use LE Audio when available’ option you mentioned in Issue 699 (page 36). Is my PC compatible? If not, is there a website that lists which laptops are?

A According to the Asus website, your laptop has an integrated Intel AX211 Bluetooth 5.3 card. This supports Low Energy (LE) technology, but the hardware needs specific drivers for it to work. These could come from Microsoft, Intel or Asus.
Microsoft doesn’t create drivers for every hardware combination, hence the generic drivers. Asus has published several Bluetooth driver updates for your model at www. snipca.com/53950. However, the most recent is from June 2023 (see screenshot 1 ), so we wouldn’t count on there being any more.
That leaves Intel, which published updated drivers in February this year, at www.snipca.com/539512 . We don’t have your model of laptop, so we can’t try them, but we think installing these will fix your problem.
