This month, we’re loving a whole host of incredible talent with the release of our sixth edition, out August 30th. Leading the pack is the first of our cover stars, the supremely talented Brit actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. This autumn, he’s got not one but two leading roles in two of this year’s most anticipated new movies, Oliver Stone’s cult flick Savages and Joe Wright’s epic masterpiece, Anna Karenina. Joining him in the cover star ranks are The Vaccines, poster boys for the current Brit indie music scene who together discuss their upcoming sophomore album release. Our third and final cover meanwhile, is the very beautiful Valerie Van Der Graaf, who along with her rising fellow models grace our inside pages in a darkly seductive fashion editorial in this, our dedicated “Fashion” issue.
With a distinctive nod to all things stylish this issue, we speak to Sasha Walckhoff about his experiences taking over as Creative Director at Christian Lacroix, we delve into the rise of men’s fashion and its inaugural London Fashion Week and what’s more, we investigate what it’s really like in the world of male modelling.
In film, we meet Hollywood darling Anna Kendrick, while closer to home we introduce actress on the rise, Vanessa Kirby. In music we unveil two of Brooklyn’s finest exports, Friends and Theophilus London, while in art we welcome Bryan Adams’ photography showcase in his brand new book Exposed.
