HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here it is, the first issue of Ai to hit the shelves in 2017. Although we are a little late on in the month of January now the prospect of a whole new year ahead of us is still exciting and it's off to a flying start. We couldn't ignore the fact that our recently announced game, Ai500: The Gathering, set to take place in Cleethorpes in June sold out in record time. 400 tickets in around 40 minutes flew out the door to you ravenous players and it totally took us by surprise - we knew a game at an abandoned theme park would be popular but we didn't know it would quite be Glastonbury Festival-level popular! We want to thank you for the support and enthusiasm for the event and we can't wait to meet you all in summer!
Continuing on the theme of the new year, I'm sure we all have some big plans. I was recently lucky enough to visit the Action5portGames HQ in Denmark just before Christmas (you can read about the HQ itself in this issue) and whilst there I got a unique insight into the processes and
workings of what is really one of the major centres of airsoft in Europe. They have some massive plans for 2017 and we will see plenty of exciting things coming to fruition over the coming months. We are looking forward to telling you more about the exciting happenings as soon as we can!
