Let’s be honest, June and July are not really the best of months for telescope owners who enjoy looking at faint deep-sky objects.
It never gets truly dark, so the faintest galaxies, nebulae and clusters are lost in the never-ending twilight. But there are still a few things to swing your tube around to - especially in Cygnus, which is almost overhead around midnight - when the night sky is as dark as it going to get.
