A local family that could trace a clear line back to the 1750 was the consignor of this gold, white enamel and citrine mourning ring to Henry Adams (20% buyer’s premium) in Chichester on January 16. Cameron, whose father had participated in the failed 1715 Jacobite rising, was a prominent leader in the rebellion of 1745.
