Dochas Carers Centre chosen for Christmas Charity Ball donation

The Argyllshire Christmas Charity Ball raised £2,500 for the Dochas Centre, which was presented in a rightfully large cheque by Amanda Minshall at the Dochas Centre’s 21st anniversary party.

Run by Enid Struthers, The Argyllshire Christmas Charity Ball was founded in 1946 was initially intended to be a postwar celebration and way of fundraising for what was then the Scottish Children’s League (now known as Children 1st). Enid ran the ball for 25 years raising £125,000 for charity.
