THE CLYDESDALE Bank Spirit of the Community Awards 2017 have opened to applications from Argyll initiatives keen to make a difference in their community.
Registered charities and not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to enter one of three categories: projects that encourage a healthy relationship with money; helping improve the environment; and assisting in finding employment for local people. Five initiatives will be selected in each of the categories, with 15 winners in total taking home £5,000 each.
Clydesdale Bank chairwoman Debbie Crosbie said: ‘It is inspiring to see just how much of a difference these awards have made.’
