Mystery visit by ferry

The MV Isle of Lewis spent last weekend tied up at Brodick apparently undergoing repairs.

The vessel had been on its was back to Oban after its annual service but did not make it round the Kintyre Peninsula last Friday when it turned and headed for Brodick.

It spent the weekend alongside Brodick’s second pier with its bow raised. It finally left on Monday to resume work on the Oban to Castlebay on Barra route.
