Craig Wilson Limited sold 421 cattle and 2,811 sheep consigned from the island farmers to their autumn calf sales held within Ayr Auction Mart.

The quality of the stock on offer was once again outstanding, the consignors of which must be congratulated on the selling of widely sought after cattle and sheep, renowned for their finishing ability.

Principle prices per head: Aberdeen Angus Bullocks: £1280, £1190 Altgolach, £1180, £1090 (x3), £1055, £1050, £1020 Cairnhouse, £900 Bellevue, £920, £900 Creagraineach, £815 Braehead. Aberdeen Angus Stirks: £760 Tigheanfraeoch, £690 Knowe, £600 Bridge. Aberdeen Angus Bullock Calves: £620 Glenkiln. Aberdeen Angus Heifers: £1100, £1065 Altgolach, £980, £945 Cairnhouse. Aberdeen Angus Heifer Stirks: £950 Creagraineach, £895 Altgolach, £740 Auchenhew.
