I read about Mariah Carey revealing that she’s bipolar, and have also seen a storyline about the disorder on EastEnders recently. I’m worried that I exhibit a lot of the symptoms, but am reticent to go to the doctors because I’m scared of what a positive diagnosis would mean. Do I need to be concerned?

First and foremost, never be scared to seek help for any kind of mental distress. Asking for help can seem like the hardest step, but it is the most important.
