DRINKFINITY
Confession time: I’m not good when it comes to drinking water, often side-lining it for anything with a bit of flavour — regardless of its sugar content or added sweeteners. Enter Drinkfinity, an interesting proposition for the water-shy but health-conscious: a sleek “Vessel” designed to work in tandem with diff erent flavour pods, pimping plain water with a combination of fruit juices and, interestingly, dry ingredients such as plant extracts and vitamins. There are six flavours to choose from, including blackberry acai charge and mango oats flow, and the bottle incorporates a collar that, with a bit of force, pierces the pods to release their ingredients directly into the water. I was a bit too gentle on my first go, not quite piercing the pod enough, but I soon got the hang of it and found most of the flavours lend a subtle, well-balanced taste, while being low in calories and free of artificial sweeteners. While the packaging can seem excessive and somewhat gimmicky, you can free-post empty pods back to be recycled. They can only be bought on the Drinkfinity website currently, but there’s free shipping on orders of £30 or more. Price: £30 for a welcome pack including a Vessel and 16 pods.
