DAN, 27, WEST END PERFORMER
We live in a house-share in London, and we’ve got quite a close-knit group of friends who love to come around. Our house is known for parties and a place to chill. We’re into our dinner parties now that we’re at the age where everyone is settling down, with people getting married and in long-term relationships. Compromise is the key to a long-term relationship, and knowing when to pick your fights. I like living with Eian because he is always happy and fun; living with him is great, though he annoys me at times. Eian is obsessed with folding crisp packets into triangles and leaving them all around the house. We’ve got a bin bag full of them in the shed. I think he’s close to a world record. We work well together in the sense of routine and chores. Since we first got together, we’ve grown up, and because we’re such big parts in each others’ lives, to be apart from one another would be devastating, for both of us. We did separate for a week or two when Eian’s parents found out but we’ll be celebrating our ten year anniversary this December. We’ve only dated each other, so obviously we’re both curious about what it would feel like with someone else, but we’re happy together.
