New research is being released almost every day about the positive impact a plant-based diet has on not only our health, but the environment, too. We are being encouraged to swap animal products for vegan alternatives to support the fight against global warming and to help save our beautiful planet from a not so beautiful future. Seeing the constant rise in people transitioning to a more compassionate way of living is heart-warming, and shows that the future of veganism looks bright. However, the increase of consumerism in the plant-based food industry does come with some negatives that are also contributing to climate change – but don’t worry, we’ve got the solutions.

Found in tofu, tempeh, sauces, milk, oils and many other meat alternatives, soy products and a vegan diet, usually, come hand in hand. With more people adopting a vegan lifestyle, this sudden surge in demand for soy products does come at a cost.
