LAST Friday staff from Kintyre’s radio station, Argyll FM, sold raffle tickets at the Co-op on Friday and invited the Courier to pick the winning ticket live on air on Saturday afternoon.
During the visit one of the station’s founder volunteers, Co-op manager Colin Middleton, showed the Courier reporter a photograph, from the mid-1990s, of a group of early volunteers who came forward for training in the community centre.
