James Butcher seems unstoppable at the moment, as he notched up his third fifty in just two months with Scar at 51lb 1oz from Horton Church Lake. Emperor Lakes in Devon produced a 50-pounder too, with the No.8 fish coming out at 52lb 6oz. Carp-Talk regular Perry Alabaster topped a three-fish catch from Holme Fen with a 47½lb mirror and Carp Wars star Dave Levy continued his excellent season with the capture of a 45½lb mirror from The Rise in Essex.
