When asked about his work, pioneering French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson said his aim was to capture a “moment in time”. He would have surely nodded in approval of several of the images depicting Jack Nicklaus and Doug Sanders in the immediate aftermath of the fourth round of The Open Championship of 1970.
