Dandy highwayman Adam Ant will tour his 1980 classic Kings Of The Wild Frontier across the UK next year. The record – produced by Chris Hughes and featuring hits Antmusic plus Dog Eat Dog – introduced the world to Ant’s Burundi Beat, and sold eight million copies. Ant’s 14-date tour kicks off at Ipswich Regent Theatre on 23rd May and continues on to Leicester’s DeMontfort Hall (Tues 24th), Bristol’s Colston Hall (Weds 25th), Portsmouth Guildhall (Friday 27th), Brighton Centre (Sat 28th), Hull City Hall (Sun 29th), York Barbican (Tues 31st), Gateshead The Sage (Wed 1st June), Manchester Bridgewater Hall (Thurs 2nd), Liverpool Philharmonic (Sat 4th), Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (Sun 5th), Birmingham Symphony Hall (Tues 7th), Oxford New Theatre (Wed 8th) and wraps up at London’s Brixton Academy on the 10th June. A brand new album, Bravest Of The Brave, is also due out next year.
