“Like most classic pop music fans I watched ABBA’s livestream on 2 September to announce their new album and hologram tour. The ArcelorMittal Orbit tower – where the interview with Benny and Björn took place – is only a mile from where I live. After the livestream, I decided to pop down there. Ifigured that if I was lucky I might catch them getting into their cars. When I got to the tower there were only a few people milling around and no sign of the boys. I assumed I’d missed them so took pictures in my ABBA T-shirt of the new arena and went back by the tower to upload my photos on social media. After a few moments, Björn appeared. There were literally just six to eight people there, and he posed for pictures with everyone who wanted one. Benny then arrived. He said he didn’t do selfies but if someone else took the photo it was fine. You can see from my face with Benny how uncertain I look!”
