GET MONEY BACK FOR FAULTY SMART METERS
Energy suppliers will have to pay £40 in compensation if it takes longer than six weeks to install a smart meter, or longer than 90 days to fix faulty meters. The new rules from energy regulator Ofgem are similar to Ofcom’s scheme that sees broadband providers automatically compensate customers.
