Hello! There’s no need to be bored if it continues to tip it down for the whole of the summer – we have lots and lots to keep you busy on those wet and dreary days! This issue is jam packed with techniques, many of which will help you get the most out of the stamping supplies you already own – so you won’t even have to get wet going to the shops!

We have two wonderful techniques featuring acetate, which are great for adding both depth and a wonderful shine to your makes: on page 6, Joanne Allison demonstrates a stunning faux lacquer look, full of eastern mystique and on page 16 Sylvia Blum creates beautiful alcohol-inked acetate accents.

Also try your hand at creating faux embossed metal (p.32), an awesome Distress Stain background (p.64) or bespoke wire embellishments (p.66).
