Celebrated for increasing the visibility of queer Latinx characters – as well as being TV’s first all-Latinx writers’ room – the GLAAD Award-winning show enters its third and final season, promising a satisfying adios to the groundbreaking drama. Since returning home for their mother’s funeral to discover they’d been left with her failing business and secret wife, Mexican-American sisters Lyn (Melissa Barrera) and Emma (Mishel Prada) have been struggling to build a successful bar and a new relationship with unexpected step-mum Eddy (Ser Anzoategui). Cut to the six-episode finale, and their lives are rocked by another family secret, with their dad appearing back on the scene. Meanwhile the bar is starting to come together as a home for their wider LGBTQI family, despite being the target of anti-gentrification protestors. Expect drinking, drag and some damn hot sex scenes.
