STAR LETTER
MANWITH A PAN…
Dear Fast Bikes, First of all, I hope you guys are well and as always, the mag is awesome! Secondly, I must apologise for my endless bombardment of messages on social media, requesting advice ranging from battery choice, to ECU remapping vs PC V and most recently your opinions on bike choice. And this brings me on to the reason for this letter, to give credit where it’s due and in this case that is you guys at Fast Bikes.
I wanted a bike that was still fast but much more usable than my remapped Fireblade! That was phenomenally fast and achieved licence shredding, prison incarcerating speeds in the blink of an eye even though I LOVED IT!
This new-found craziness did have a big drawback though as the Fireblade, for me, was just too fast for road riding and wouldn’t have been out of place at this year’s Superstock TT race!
It was far too easily accessible and I could certainly predict my future… involving handcuffs and no licence, and as for prison, not sure I’d do well in prison! So I originally thought about a Hypermotard and asked for your help, to which you gave sound advice and suggested I go try and have a test ride.
