Thin out hemerocallis
Pinch out weak growth from the clump centre to boost energy
Go through the new shoots of hemerocallis, selecting the weakest ones to take out. Use a knife or get right down and, with your hands, grip them, one at a time, firmly at the base to snap them out. Trim back any that tear or snap.
