We don’t think that there’s a single person who predicted that 2020 was going to play out the way that it did. But it happened and we all dealt with it the best way we could. Just over the next rise is 2021 and HEAVY DUTY 174, the January/February issue. That custom Shovel on the cover started life as a Softail but was then personalised. Spend the time and check out all of the little details on this amazing build. Also on the cover is an extra-special Road Glide Special. They aren’t delivered from the Motor Company with a 131-cube M8 fitted, but that’s what is powering this one down the road. Between the covers you’ll find El Chicano, a bike much deeper than a few scrolls. Look further and you’ll find Massachusetts Gold, a Sportster from Shadley Brothers that will also draw you in. Then there’s The Cyclops, an M8 Softail built to dominate on race tracks. The Duckworth Clan gave us an insight into what makes them tick as a family where every member owns a Harley. Dave went for a ride with the Gasoline Alley Hoggies and had a blast. Mainframe Custom Cycles have turned out an awesome combo. Dave shares his thoughts on the LiveWire; we found a Dark Knight Fat Boy; Suzanne spent A Day in the Saddle in south-west WA; a bloke called Tom built a unique Sportster; Doc shares his trip to the Burt Munro Challenge and also a Feuling W3. Mick takes delivery of Project M8 Superglide and starts doing stuff to it. On sale January 4, 2021, in newsagents right across Australia and New Zealand.
