There is a great feature hidden in the iPhone’s Accessibility settings that enables you to assign actions to Back Tap. Tap the back of the iPhone with a finger twice or three times and you can perform a system action, like taking a screenshot, showing the Control Centre, and muting your iPhone. Not only can system actions and accessibility features be assigned to Back Tap, shortcuts can too. The Shortcuts app enables you to create scripts that perform actions and they can range from very short and simple ones to very long and complex processes. When assigned to Back Tap, shortcuts can do almost anything with a tap on the iPhone’s back.
