Elsewhere we also speak to multi-percussionist Joby Burgess, whose long and eclectic career has seen him work with a diverse range of artists including Peter Gabriel, Steve Reich and Powerplant to name but a few. Jack Carrack joins us to discuss his role on his famous fathers latest release as well as how playing solely for the song led to his dad employing two drummers in his touring band. Emeli Sandé’s drummer of choice Jonathan Tuitt lifts the lid on life with one of the biggest current stars on the UK music scene, while Vijay Mistry, the man tasked with providing the energy for The Kaiser Cheifs live shows, talks candidly about his role in the band.
