DESKTOP ANNOTATOR
Gromit-MPX
Version: GIT Web: https://github.com/bk138/gromit-mpx
During a presentation in front of an audience, it’s common to highlight an element or part of the screen. Moving a tiny mouse pointer around rarely cuts the mustard. Both Plasma and Gnome desktop environments have their own ways of painting over the screen, using a dedicated Kwin effect and a Gnome extension, respectively. But what if your desktop is a minimalistic tile-based experience, or XFCE, or something else? The solution is Gromit-MPX, which enables GRaphics Over MIscellaneous Things using the Multi-Pointer X.org feature. This software is a remake of the original Gromit tool from the early 2000s.
