MHN lead professional officer update

One conversation that comes up frequently with mental health nurse members is: “That #ChoosePsychiatry campaign, when do mental health nurses get one of those?” Well, the answer is ‘now’. A few weeks ago, I asked individuals and organisations to get in touch to sign up to support this campaign, which will focus on telling as many people as possible about the amazing work mental health nurses do.

We’ve had a great response so far and I have started to share the supporters who have signed up on the Twitter account @MHnursingFuture. So get in touch with your organisations and urge them to sign up. You can find out more details at https://goo.gl/xr4HxD. An early part of the campaign is to share some memes of mental health nurses talking about the best bits of the job. If you want to contribute your words to a meme, get in touch.
