Iomain Cholmcille has announced £8,000 funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig in order to help develop the use of Gaelic in youth shinty.
This funding, which comes from the Bòrd’s Taic Fhreumhan Coimhearsnachd fund for community projects, will help build on Iomain Cholmcille’s successful work, in partnership with the Highland Council’s Gaelic Team, running the Cupa Iomain na h-Òige, Gaelic Primary Schools Cup.
The Cupa, which is open to all Gaelic medium schools and units in Scotland, will be held at the Bught Park in Inverness on Friday September 28 .
