We've got something a bit different on the cover this month! For the first time since Pacenotes was published back in 2003, we have two Group B Sambas adorning the cover. Father and son, John and Alan Gillis, own these Group B beauties – read all about them inside!

Kevin O'Driscoll turns back the clock to 1986 when he remembers the tussles that took place over Easter at the Circuit of Ireland Rally and Martin Holmes recalls the 1975 Elba Rally. Competitors Jade Paveley and Niall Burns are both 'in the spotlight' while Cookstown Motor Club features as our 'Club of the Month'.

We also have our usual selection of reports and photos from around the UK and Ireland. They include the opening round of the British Rally Championship in Mid-Wales, and round two of the Irish Tarmac series in West Cork.

Two rounds of the Scottish Rally Championship are also covered (Snowman and Border Counties) as well as round two of the BTRDA (Malcolm Wilson Rally), not to mention a selection of clubman events from around the country.
