Not content with scaring the pants off cinema audiences with Halloween, The Fog and The Thing, John Carpenter added to the terror of wide-eyed teens everywhere with his distinctive, synth-heavy soundtracks, filled with foreboding and gloom as Michael Myers filleted his way through the cast of the Halloween series.

This latest collection picks up where that left off, albeit without the movies to hang the music from.
