Hull Trains’ Class 802 Paragon units, Nos. 802304 William Wilberforce and 802305 The Humber Bridge, are seen at Doncaster on November 6.
PAUL HARROD
IN celebration of the area and local wellknown figures, name vinyls have been attached to all five units of the Hull Trains Class 802 ‘Paragon’ fleet. Relatives and friends of Jean Bishop, known locally as The Bee Lady, gathered at Hull Paragon on October 26 for the naming of No. 802302 in her memory. Jean, who died in 2021 aged 99, raised funds for Age UK and was familiar to many for wearing a bee costume while carrying her donations tin. She collected more than £125,000 for the charity. No. 802303 was named Land of Green Ginger on October 6 and No. 802304 became William Wilberforce on October 12. Names were added to No. 802301 Amy Johnson and No. 802305 The Humber Bridge on October 22 and 27 respectively.
