Steven Knight puts flamboyant transport designer Ray Stenning under the spotlight.
FOR anyone who regularly uses public transport, it is certain you will have seen many examples of Ray Stenning’s liveries and branding work on rolling stock, at stations, and on printed materials.

Ray was interested in transport related operations whilst at school. He gained his PSV licence in 1979 and worked as a driver for various coach companies. It was following various stints of driving that Ray decided to put his graphic design training to use, initially in the coach and bus market.
