The game casts you as Marianne, a troubled clairvoyant searching a ruined hotel in ’90s Poland for the secrets of her (as you discover) very eventful childhood. Marianne’s special talent is the ability to explore the material and spirit realms side by side. At scripted intervals, the third-person viewpoint cuts in half to reveal a parallel landscape of dripping flesh and bone.
